About Pamela Jones

My passion for companionship and senior care began in the most personal of ways — caring for my grandmother and later my father at the end of his life. Those experiences opened my eyes to how much a compassionate, consistent presence can mean to someone who is aging, vulnerable, or simply in need of connection.

Watching my loved ones navigate their final years taught me that what people need most isn't just physical assistance — it's someone who truly sees them, listens to them, and shows up with patience and love. That realization became the foundation of everything I do.

Over the years, I built my career in assisted living, gaining valuable hands-on experience in senior care environments. I worked alongside nurses, social workers, and families, deepening my understanding of what quality care looks like in practice.

As I grew professionally, I felt God calling me back to something more personal — the one-on-one connection, the quiet moments, the kind of care that can't be replicated in a facility setting. That calling led me to found The Presence of Purpose Companion Care.

As a mother myself, I understand firsthand the weight of responsibility that comes with caring for the people you love most. That perspective shapes everything about how I show up — with patience, attentiveness, and a genuine investment in the well-being of every person in my care.

Today, I bring over 15 years of experience, a mother's heart, and an unwavering commitment to serving families throughout Suffolk County with dignity, compassion, and faith.
